About the Pathways 2 Promise Scholarship Fair
The Pathways 2 Promise Scholarship Fair is a groundbreaking, citywide event designed to equip Atlanta Public Schools (APS) high school students and their families with the essential tools they need to navigate college admissions, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and postsecondary planning.
Hosted jointly by the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the Eta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, this event brings together two of Atlanta’s oldest and most historic Black Greek-letter chapters to expand educational access across the city’s youth community.

More than 450 students, parents, educators, scholarship providers, and community leaders are expected to participate in this transformative day of learning, preparation, and opportunity. The event brings together a dynamic roster of presenters who will share guidance on college and vocational admissions, financial aid, and the tools student-athletes need to excel both academically and athletically.

The Pathways 2 Promise Scholarship Fair offers one of the most comprehensive educational access experiences in the region. Students and families will gain direct access to:

- Need-based & merit-based aid
- Academic planning and competitive positioning
✔️ Career & Technical Education (CTE) Opportunities
- Students interested in trades and technical education will meet organizations offering training, certification, and scholarships
A Unique Track for Student Athletes & Families
One of the standout features of the fair is its specialized Student Athlete and Parents of Student Athletes track—designed to help families navigate the increasingly complex world of college sports and athletic recruitment.
This track includes sessions led by:
- Current college athletes
- Former high school, college & professional athletes
- High-school and collegiate coaches
- Sports and entertainment lawyers
- NIL, branding, and compliance professionals
- Agents and athlete advisors
Students and families will learn how to:
- Understand NCAA eligibility rules
- Navigate NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) opportunities
- Avoid recruiting red flags
- Build a personal brand ethically
- Protect academic and athletic eligibility
- Make informed decisions about contracts, representation & long-term success

About Host Chapters
About the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated
Founded in 1924 as the first chapter of Delta Sigma Theta established in Atlanta and in the state of Georgia, the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter has a long and distinguished history of leadership, sisterhood, and service. For a century, the chapter has advanced Delta’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust—Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement—through impactful community programs and public service initiatives.
About the Eta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated
Founded in 1919, the Eta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated is the first chapter of any Black Greek-letter organization chartered in the state of Georgia. For more than a century, Eta Omega has shaped Atlanta’s civic, educational, and social landscape through leadership, community service, and a legacy of producing distinguished fraternity and Atlanta leaders.
