Greetings and welcome to the website for the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. It is an honor and a privilege to share with you information about our glorious sisterhood and how we look to make an impact in Atlanta. As we embark on a new sorority year, we look forward to your continued support of programs focused on our Five Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development - Economic empowerment initiatives for youth (Delta Academy) and seniors

  • Educational Development - Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy having served 24 girls, ages 11-14

  • International Awareness and Involvement - Support for the Mary Sick of the Mission Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa

  • Physical and Mental Health - Annual From the Heart Walk and Annual Health Fair

  • Political Awareness and Involvement - Voter Registration

We are committed to Sisterhood, Scholarship Service and are dedicated to making an impact in the community, as we reflect on the legacy of our Founders and our lifetime commitment to Delta Sigma Theta. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s biennium theme is a “Sisterhood Called to Serve Transforming Lives, Impacting Communities”.   Atlanta Alumnae Chapter continues to create collaborative partnerships and develop sustainable and effective programs. As we broaden our service footprint and impact in the community, we ask that you join us to transform our community through supporting our public service programs.

We look forward to having the community join us where possible in bringing the five point programmatic thrusts to Atlanta and the surrounding communities. Thank you for visiting our website and we look forward to another great year of service!
